“Woman Marines Association” is a reliable source to reference to and helped my research on the achievement of women in the marines. The source provided me with a variety of leaders who made a difference in the Women Marines. This source gave me the general overview of achievements in the Women Marines in which I choose certain leaders to further research on.

The annotation above is a great overview of the women who made huge difference in Military services. These women served in the Marines, US Army, Coast Guard, Etc. This researched helped me narrow down the major leaders in the Women Marines to research on.

This source was used for the same reason of the first two annotations. This source helped my research look at the general progress of how Women Marines got to where they are today. It also provided me with achievements that are happening today with women in the Marines, which I further researched.

The timeline provided on this source is very helpful when looking through the course of history. It proves to be very accurate matching up with serval dates I keep finding while researching. This provided me with the basic information of the first women Marine to enlist in the Marine Corps Reserve in 1918. From here I researched one of my first topics of Opha Mae Johnson.

While researching Ruth Cheney Streeter, this annotation was extremely helpful. I found the background history of Ruth as well as her achievements while serving. This is where I retrieved all my dates and found two quotes that are said about her.

In this book I found a lot of my information of Barbara J. Dubinsky. I used many dates and places she went from this novel. This source was an excellent choice to use for research because it provided information about Dubinsky’s job while serving in Vietnam.

This was a primary source I used to retrieve a quote from Dulinsky that she wrote in a letter while serving in Vietnam. This source also provided me with background information of what she did in Vietnam.
